Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) If your truck uses an urea injection system, this tuner will allow you to turn it off completely, which will allow you to remove the tank and all related sensors. The EGR valve & EGR cooler can remain installed but unplug from any wiring harness or can be completely removed with an EGR Delete Kit. DTC’s can be checked / cleared.Įliminate the following components (if equipped):ĭiesel Particulate Filter (DPF) - The EFI Live AutoCal is a DPF delete capable tuner. The DPF must be removed with a DPF delete pipe or full exhaust system when installing the EFI Live.ĭiesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) - If equipped, DEF fluid will no longer be needed and the DEF system will be deactivated.
However, if some other issue comes up you will still be alerted. The EFI Live AutoCal will prevent any emission related Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC’s) or check engine light from setting.
Larger tires and poor driving habits will skew mileage downward. After installing the EFI Live and deleting the DPF/CAT expect to get a combined mileage of 18-19 mpg. More or less depending on the severity of the restriction. If your DPF is plugged up your probably averaging about 13-14 mpg. Does not include the AutoCal or switch.Įxpect to see a significant fuel mileage gains. Tunes will be created and emailed within 4-5 business days. A JOT Form will be emailed so you can provide vehicle info. Tuning only option - This means you already have an AutoCal to load these tunes onto.
DPF DELETE TUNER PC
A PC laptop or desktop is required to load emailed tunes onto AutoCal. Based on that info custom tunes will be emailed within 3-4 business days. Once you have the device in hand you will provide VIN & vehicle info/modifications.
